Rules and Regulations of the College
- Each student should carry his duly filled diary (with the photograph) every day to the College. The rules and regulations stipulated by the College and the Hostel are entirely for the benefit of the students of St. Anthony's College.
- Parents are kindly requested to be conversant with the rules concerning discipline.
- Discipline, academic work and participation in co-curricular activities (chiefly sports) should be given the first place in school life. We seek parents' support to motivate children towards this goal since they are essential for the formation of students.
- Parents/guardians are expected to take an active interest in the progress of their children in the College. We expect parents at the compulsory meetings at least once a term to ascertain this progress.
- Parents/guardians are strongly urged to come whenever they are summoned by Rev. Fr.Principal/ Head Master to discuss matters pertaining to their children.
- Students should arrive at the College before the first bell in the morning. (7.40 am)
- All fees (PSI fees, Facility fees, Sports fund, etc.) should be paid before the 2nd term test for the whole year.
- When parents (specially ladies) come into the College, they should dress modestly.
- If a student applies for an examination as a private candidate, when it is possible to apply via college, he ceases to be a student of the College.
- Students should attend religious classes and activities regularly in their own religious institutions.
- Parents and Students should attend school "Shramadana" work.
- Parents are requested to contribute towards the College library and scholarship funds.
- Forbidden Items (Mobile Phones, Computer Accessories etc.) found in College premises will not be returned.
- All students (till they obtain their leaving certificates) are duty bound to uphold the good name the College by decent behaviour, speech, hair-cut and dress; failure to do so will incur corrective measures..
- Even after leaving the College, as an old boy you are bound to bring honor and glory to your alma mater through your decent behaviour.
Absence from the College
- Students should get their excused letters signed before going into their class rooms. (between 7.30 a.m. to 8.00 a.m.)
- Children should not over stay long weekends. If they do for legitimate reasons, only the parents or legal guardians are expected to accompany them to the College the first they attend after absence.
- Prior permission should be obtained, when a definite medical appointment is given.
- Parents can meet Rev. Fr.Principal/ Head Master from 7.30 a.m.-7.50 a.m. and 2.30 р.м.- 3.00 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.
- In the event of children being absent, on account of illness, parents/guardians are requested to notify Rev. Fr. Principal/Head Master stating the nature of the should be produced when the pupil returns to the College. Please note the reason illness and likely duration of absence. A letter signed by the parent/guardian for a pupil's absence in this diary. A medical certificate will be required in the event of an absence lasting three or more days.
- Pupils should not absent themselves from the College on account of weddings, alms giving, pilgrimages, etc. without obtaining prior permission from the Rev. Fr. Principal. Weddings, alms giving, pilgrimages, etc. are not valid excuses to be absent.
- Pupils should not on any account leave the College premises during school hours without expressed permission from the Rev. Fr. Principal. They shall always carry a "permission chit " issued to them on such occasions. Each pupil should submit the diary when applying for short leave.
Dress
- The uniform will be white shirt (short sleeves) and blue shorts or white shirts(short sleeves) and slacks (no bell bottoms) with black shoes (regular shoes only) together with the College colour tag attached to the pocket of the shirt. Students must attend all College functions, sport and other co-curricular activities in and out of the College in their uniforms, unless instructed.
Use of the College Crest & Colours
- Written permission should be obtained from the Rev. Fr. Principal each time before using College Crest or College Colours. Violating the rule could result confiscation of the products.
Progress Reports and Leaving certificates
- Academic records, character certificates and sports certificates shall be applied within 3 months after leaving the College. Students who delay to remove these certificates should pay facilities fees etc., up to the date on which they submit their withdrawal form.
- Certificates are issued only on Wednesdays after 2.30 p.m. Character certificate will include the attendance of the student. (Especially for G.C.E. A/L students). Please note that preparation process consumes one week.
- Progress Report indicating the performance of students will be given at the end of each examination. Parents are expected to inspect the progress of their children in class, sign the reports and have them returned to the class on the first day of the new term.
- Progress Report must be carefully looked after, and produced when applying for certificates of character.

- Grade 5 = 85%
- Grades 5 - 9 = 80%
- Grades 10 - 13 = 75%
